Our Management Committee

Kingscliff Mini School grows stronger when we work together. Our preschool is loved today because families, staff and community members have built it together over many years.

We welcome and invite all parents and carers to join in and help out. When you get involved, you help our preschool succeed and you get great benefits too! You will make new friends, stay updated on preschool news and show your child how wonderful it is to help your community.

Our Management Committee is run entirely by volunteers made up of our parents and carers. As a committee member, you play a vital role in running the service and looking after important things like:

• Preschool Funds: Assisting with the review of the services financials, budget and setting fees.

• Our Wonderful Staff: Helping with teacher and staff employment.

• Quality & Safety: Making sure we follow the National Quality Framework (NQF), the Education and Care Services National Regulations (NSW), and government laws. We work closely with the NSW Early Learning Commission to support new child safety reforms and governance rules. 

• Rules & Guides: Assisting with the review of service policies for families and staff

• Spreading the Word: Helping with marketing and promotion.

• Future Planning: Making smart choices for the long-term future of our school.

How to Become a Management Committee Member:

Each year, we hold an Annual General Meeting (AGM). Because all of our parents and carers are members of our Incorporated Association, you can attend this meeting and nominate to be a part of the committee for that year.

The committee includes the following roles:

• President

• Vice President

• Treasurer

• Secretary

• General Members

Together, we can ensure the absolute best care and education for our children, our families, and our whole community!
