Eligibility for Enrolment

Is determined primarily by the NSW Early Childhood Education Department (our Funding body) and the Kingscliff Mini School priorities of access.

NSW Early Childhood Education Department priorities of access:

• children who are at least 4 years old on or before 31 July in that preschool year and not enrolled or registered at a school

• children who are at least 3 years old on or before 31 July in that preschool year and are eligible for equity loading:

• children from low-income families

• children with an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background

• children with disability and/or additional needs

• children with English language needs

• children who are at risk of significant harm (from a child protection perspective).

In addition, Kingscliff Mini School will prioritise

• children who live within the 2487 postcode

• children who have had a parent or sibling previously attend Kingscliff Mini School

• length of time on the waiting list

Enrolment offers for the following year normally commence around September and continue during Term 3 and 4 until all places are filled.  Offers are sent to all families by email from info@kingscliffminischool.com
